Long Island (Bohemia) based environmental remediation firm with 3 decades of success looking for a a Project Manager with a degree in Environmental Science/Geology/Engineering and 10+ years of full time applicable experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to be a project leader for the design and implementation of environmental projects, interaction with clients, contribute to the growth of the environmental consulting and engineering group, and collaborate with staff in multiple disciplines.

Position Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of design and/or construction experience with a focus on environmental applications in site remediation.
  • Knowledge of New York State environmental rules, regulations and guidance. Knowledge of other state regulations, including NJ or CT a plus.
  • Strong understanding of hydrology, contaminant fate and transport, and groundwater remediation principles.
  • Design and implementation of environmental remediation technologies and treatment systems such as soil vapor extraction systems/ air sparging, multiphase extraction, groundwater extraction/injection, LNAPL recovery, carbon adsorption, chemical oxidation and other in situ remediation.
  • Prepare technical reports including Work Plans, Operation and Maintenance Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, Feasibility Studies, Feasibility and Exposure Assessment Study Evaluations, and Remedial Action Plans.
  • Prepare environmental permit applications and compliance reports supporting remediation system operations (e.g., air permitting, sewer discharge permitting, etc.)
  • Cost estimating, proposal development, and tracking operations and budgets.

  • Willing to be based out of our Suffolk County Long Island office, with occasional travel into New York City.
  • Adaptability and willingness to adjust to client needs.
  • Ability to pass drug, background, and motor vehicle screen.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering, or science-related fields. Masters a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
